A dry and sunny climate makes this region of the Mediterranean an ideal place to live year-round. With an average annual temperature of 21 degrees, the Region of Murcia is one of the warmest in all of southeast Spain. Annual rainfall is as low as 60 days, making it an ideal destination for playing outdoor sports for more than 300 days of the year.

Multi-coloured plains, mountains replete with Mediterranean species and more than 270 kilometres of beaches open up before your eyes like a gift of infinite possibilities.

In terms of tourism, it stands out as one of the least crowded regions of the Mediterranean Arc, so it still boasts large areas of virgin coast, natural parks and traditional vegetable farming.

Just a few kilometres away lies the Manga del Mar Menor, a 22 kilometre sandbank that serves as a natural barrier between the Mediterranean Sea and the Mar Menor.
