The Fed Cup is the pinnacle of the women’s world professional tennis circuit. Countries field teams of four players each. This year, on 21 and 22 April, Spain hosts Paraguay for one of the 2018 World Group II encounters. The team for Spain is led by Garbiñe Muguruza. Formerly-ranked first in the world, she currently ranks at number three.
The famous and popular La Manga Club is hosting this event. Selected for their world-class facilities, they feature 28 courts, including clay courts, and a centre-court with a seating capacity for 1,237 spectators.
